The dance film about the 200-year-old legend of Dal Brita has been a success in Sweden. Choreographer Erika O’Neills has with her storytelling style in her dance films created price rain at film festivals around the world. Much of the magic in the film is the hypnotically beautiful music that combines electronic art music with folk music. The composer and DJ Slim Vic have here worked together with the national fiddler Görgen Antonsson for a soundtrack where respective genres are mixed and wrestled with and against each other.

The two musicians first appeared on stage in 2016 when they were invited to make a show to the opening ceremony of the Eurovision song contest in Gävle. The widely separated musical backgrounds led to a hypnotic and explosive meeting between ambient, techno and folk music. Playful and serious, contemplative and dancing!
