SQ (SOUND QUARTET)
“SQ (Sound Quartet) is carried by howling winds from the frozen tundra with an urge to make sound poetry for the masses, an enchanting experimental blend of acoustic and electronic sounds. These rarely published freethinkers creates a low key intense music with the strength of swedish granite that matured for an eternity.”
Thomas Bjelkeborn on electronics has performed at festivals on all continents. Paul Pignon on Sax, Woodwinds and Digeridoo is a pioneer in EAM and lived equally in the UK, Yugoslavia and Sweden. Live visuals is provided by Deadpixel.
The Swedish solo project PRO424 has since the debut in 2011 wandered between musically narrow alleys, and finds his passion and inspiration in the classic ambient music, electronica and melodic techno. The LP Immune released on Lamour record is another step musically both into himself and into the unknown, where the musical norm is put to test and challenged by combining the softest ambient music with hard machine techno. The music can be seen as a fragile mix of Underworld and Tangerine Dream, with a scent of Richie Hawtin. Immune is released on vinyl LP and digitally.
